Before coming to HERO, I was a high school student who was adventurous and loved to try new things but was known by others as somebody who gave up whenever he hit a roadblock. Whenever something hard came my way, I would simply quit out of fear of failure. On the side, I would devote little time to studying, waste hours of my day playing video games, and live my social life in fear of others' opinions. I lacked discipline in every area of my life. While I was aware of my bad habits and hated them, I put forth no real effort to make a change.

When I heard about HERO, I decided to give it a try, maybe hoping to get in shape or learn some cool moves to get attention from peers. But that's not what Master Butler had in mind. The intentional and rigorous format of the classes quickly drew me in, eager for the next time I would come in. I believe Master Butler and Master Niebling watch every student and help them grow in ways they thought they never could. Since being at HERO for a few months now, I can confidently say my life has changed dramatically. My parents have told me they notice more respect towards them and others. By setting my mind to learning my forms, I have learned to also set my mind to study. I have gotten grades higher than I ever have, making the Dean's List at my college in my very first semester. I have taken every challenge and faced it head-on instead of backing down. My experience as a new college freshman has been better than I ever thought it could be, and I owe it to Master Butler.

At first, I was reluctant about spending $150 a month for membership, but I can say now with confidence it has been worth it every step of the way. I have no intention of stopping anytime soon, and for those who struggle with discipline or self-respect, don't wait any longer; HERO will change your life for the better.

My kids (D10, S8) have been attending beginner classes for 2 months now, and I already see a big change in them. They are usually shy and tentative kids that don’t like to make mistakes. Here, they take risks with enthusiasm. Their skills and fitness levels are growing. The curriculum is organized and logical. I can’t wait for their first belt promotion test in a few weeks. I joined Millennium a little over a month ago. Im 41 and not very fit so I was timid at first. Being in this school has made me stronger and more confident. They have really great instructors who are very patient and knowledgeable at the art. They make you want to work hard and they are very motivating. Ive learned so much in a short amount of time I have been hear. The other students are very nice and also and help out lower belts which is awesome. I definitely recommend Millennium Academy for anyone. So glad I chose this school out of all the ones I looked at.
